EXCITER-TO-IGNITER PLUG CABLE - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General
_______
A. This task includes the task to do a visual inspection of the
exciter-to-igniter plug cable.
B. Inspection of the exciter-to-igniter plug cable is necessary after a fast engine shutdown. During a fast engine shutdown, the ignition parts cannot sufficiently cool to prevent the damage. Examine the cables and the igniter plug terminal. Make sure that the high temperatures did not cause damage to the insulation for the high tension leads or the rubber bushings.
