Listen for the operation of ignitor plug 2 on the applicable engine.

 (d)  
Release the applicable engine START switch to the off position.

 (e)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plug 2 stops on the applicable engine.

 (f)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.

 (4)  Put the IGNITION AUTO switch in the BOTH position.
 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.

 (b)  
Pull and hold the applicable engine START switch to the on position.

 (c)  
Listen for the operation of ignitor plugs 1 and 2 on the applicable engine.

 (d)  
Release the applicable engine START switch to the off position.

 (e)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plugs 1 and 2 stops on the applicable engine.

 (f)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.


 F. Do the Manual Continuous Ignition System Test.

 (1)  Put the IGNITION AUTO switch in the 1 position.
 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.

 (b)  
Put the IGNITION CON switch in the ON position.

 (c)  
Make sure that CON IGNITION ON shows on the main EICAS display.

 (d)  
Listen for the operation of ignitor plug 1 on the applicable engine.

 (e)  
Put the IGNITION CON switch in the off position.

 (f)  
Make sure that CON IGNITION ON does not show on the main EICAS display.

 (g)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plug 1 stops on the applicable engine.

 (h)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.

 (2)  Put the IGNITION AUTO switch in the 2 position.
 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.

 (b)  
Put the IGNITION CON switch in the ON position.

 (c)  
Make sure that CON IGNITION ON shows on the main EICAS display.

 (d)  
Listen for the operation of ignitor plug 2 on the applicable engine.

 (e)  
Put the IGNITION CON switch in the off position.

 (f)  
Make sure that CON IGNITION ON does not show on the main EICAS display.

 (g)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plug 2 stops on the applicable engine.

 (h)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.

 (3)  Put the IGNITION AUTO switch in the BOTH position.
 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.

 (b)  
Put the IGNITION CON switch in the ON position.

 (c)  
Make sure that CON IGNITION ON shows on the main EICAS display.

 (d)  
Listen for the operation of ignitor plugs 1 and 2 on the applicable engine.

 (e)  
Put the IGNITION CON switch in the off position.

 (f)  
Make sure that CON IGNITION ON does not show on the main EICAS display.

 (g)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plugs 1 and 2 stops on the applicable engine.

 (h)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.


 G. Do the Automatic Continuous Ignition System Test.

Supply the pneumatic power (AMM 36-00-00/201).

 (2)  
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers for the applicable engine:


 (a)  P6 Main Power Supply Panel
 1) 6J10 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 1
 2) 6J11 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 2
 3) 6J12 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 3
 4) 6J13 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 4
