come on after approximately 6 seconds. 4) Make sure the GPS annunciator on the IRS MSU (P5) comes on after approximately 6 seconds. 5) Push one of the master caution lights (P10) to stop the flashes.
(c)
Close the GPS 1 circuit breaker on the P6 panel and the GPS 2 circuit breaker on the P18 panel.
(d)
Make sure the GPS annunciator on the IRS MSU goes off.
(e)
Stop for approximately 5 minutes until the GPS L and GPS R positions are shown again.

GPS SENSOR UNIT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task is the removal of a GPS Sensor Unit (GPSSU). The second task is the installation of a GPSSU.
B. There are two GPSSUs installed on the airplane. They are located above the ceiling between stations 500A and 500C approximately three feet to the right of the centerline.

(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
On the electronic load circuit breaker panel P6: 1) GPS 1
(b)
On the electronic load circuit breaker panel P18: 1) GPS 2

(2) Remove the right ceiling panel at station 500A (or 500B) to get access to the left (or right) GPSSU (AMM 25-21-45/401).
NOTE: The GPSSUs are located above the overhead stowage bins,
____ approximately three feet to the right of the centerline.

CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH THE GPSSU BEFORE YOU DO THE PROCEDURE FOR DEVICES
_______ THAT ARE SENSITIVE TO ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE. ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE GPSSU.
(3) Do the procedure for devices that are sensitive to static discharge (AMM 20-40-12/201).
