Make sure that the landing gear ground locks are installed.

Get access to the coupler located at the aft outboard corner of the main wheel well.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the inboard end of the coupler.

CAUTION:_______DO NOT PULL ON THE COUPLER. IF YOU DO, DAMAGE TO THE COUPLER CAN OCCUR.

Hold the coupler and remove the four screws that attach the coupler mounting plate to the aft wheel well bulkhead.

Carefully disconnect the antenna cable from the aft face of the coupler.

Remove the four screws that attach the coupler to the mounting plate.

Remove the ADF sense antenna coupler from the mounting plate.

(1)
Install the coupler on the mounting plate with the four screws.

(2)
Clean the mating surfaces of the coupler and the mounting plate to get a good electrical bond (AMM 20-10-37/401).

Connect the antenna cable to the coupler.

(4)
Put the coupler into position and tighten all but one of the mounting screws to attach the coupler mounting plate to the bulkhead.

Do an electrical bonding test between the antenna and the airplane structure as follows (SWPM 20-20-00):
(a)
Connect the ohmmeter or resistance measuring bridge between the empty antenna coupler mounting screw hole (on the antenna coupler base plate) and the airplane structure.
(b)
Make sure that the resistance is not more than 1 milliohm
(0.001 ohm).

Install and tighten the last mounting screw.
(7)
Apply BMS 5-95 sealant to the ground strap (AMM 20-10-37/401).
(8)
Connect the electrical connector to the inboard end of the coupler.
(9)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
