 (10) If the NLG makes a loud noise as it closes, replace the UPLOCK ASSY-NLG DOOR (2534GM), (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-14-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-14-400-001). 
R R  (11) If the NLG door opens and closes undemanded, do the Operational Check to Ensure Safety Valve Closes at 260 kts (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-710-005).
R  (12) If the operational test at step (11) is unsatisfactory, replace the SAFETY VALVE-L/G SYS ISOLATION (49GA), (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-17-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-17-400-001).
 (13) If the fault continues, the NLG is slow to operate or the fault continues after the subsequent flight, replace the ACTG CYL-NLG (2527GM) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-22-400-001).

 3. Fault Confirmation

 A. Procedure
 (1) Do a check of the post flight report. If there is a SYS DISAGREE ECAM message and related MLG (LH) uplock target-position CFDS message, do the Fault Isolation procedure.

 4. Fault Isolation
_______________

 A. Procedure NOTE : The procedure that follows, gives the information necessary to
____ identify mechanical faults related to the MLG (LH).
 (1) Do the inspection/check of the main gear (LH) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-00-200-001).
R (2) Do a check of the UPLOCK ASSY-MLG, L (2509GM) proximity sensors and R targets (Ref. TASK 32-31-00-810-846).
R (a) If the indications are not correct during the check, do the R following:
R 1_ Do a check for grease contamination of the uplock proximityR sensors and targets.
R 2_ If there is too much grease in the area, clean off the greaseR and do the check in Para. 4.A. again.
R NOTE : Grease contamination can cause incorrect indications.

 (3) Do the detailed dimensional check of the MLG (LH) lockstay assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 32-11-00-220-003).
R (4) Do the detailed inspection of the MLG (LH) uplock (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-200-001).
R (5) Correct all faults found.
 (6) Do the functional test of the normal extension and retraction of the landing gear (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-00-720-002).

 (7) If the fault continues, the MLG (LH) is slow to operate or the fault continues after the subsequent flight, replace the ACTG CYL-MLG L (2503GM) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-46-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-46-400-001)
