R (a) TEST page
R 1_ REQUEST VHF3 LINK (1L)
R This line key enables to activate the link test and to display
R the status of the connection between VDR3 and the ground
R center.
R NOTE : During the link test, the REQUEST indication is____
R replaced by IN PROGRESS and then by the test result OK
R or FAILED indication.
R 2_ REQUEST SAT LINK (1R) (if SATCOM system installed)
R This line key enables to activate the link test and to display
R the status of the connection between the SDU1 and the ground
R center:
R NOTE : During the link test, the REQUEST indication is____

R (b) STATISTICS page
R This page enables the crew to access to the VHF3, SATCOM and

The VHF3 DATA MODE page displays a menu of various regions which can
be selected by the crew. Each region is associated with a DSP and a
frequency.
Only DSPs entered in the scan mask are displayed on this page.
This page is not displayed if no scan mask is activated.
Pressing the line key adjacent to the DSP indication changes the VHF3
frequency.
The crew can revert to automatic mode by pressing the line key
adjacent to the REVERT AUTO indication.
The first information below the title is the current mode of the
VHF3:
-MANUAL is indicated when the VHF3 is logged on a frequency that was manually selected by the crew on this page.
-AUTO is indicated when the VHF3 is logged on a frequency after automatic scanning of the scan mask.
-VOICE is indicated when VHF3 is in voice mode.
-SCAN is indicated when VHF3 is currently scanning frequencies.
-AUTO DATA INHIB is indicated when the aircraft crosses an area
where no DSP is available according to the scan mask. The second information is the service provider on which the VHF3 is logged and its corresponding frequency:
