1. On the MCDU 1, on the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/COM page 2/2: - push the line key adjacent to the ACARS MU indication. On the MCDU 1:- the ATIMS page comes into view.
 2. On the MCDU 1:  On the MCDU 1:
 - push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM TEST indication.  - the TEST IN PROGRESS indication comesinto view.

 On the upper ECAM DU: - the COM ACARS FAULT or DATALINK ATSU
 FAULT warning comes into view then, goes out of view after one minute approximately.
 On the MCDU 1:
 - the TEST OK indication comes into
 view at the end of the test.
 3. On the MCDU 1:  - the test procedure stops.

 (2) On the center pedestal, on the MCDU1, adjust the brightness of the MCDU screen.
 (3) On the overhead panel 56VU, push the GND HF DATA LINK pushbutton switch and make sure that the OVRD legend comes on.
