(1) Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.

You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice is in position to tell persons not to operate the landing gear doors.

B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).
(2)
Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).
(3)
Make sure that the MLG doors are open (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(4)
Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE is installed on the MLG door actuators.
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is below the access panels 147AZ and 148AZ.
(6)
Make sure that the access panels 191JB, 195BB, 196BB, 147AZ and 148AZ are removed, (Ref. TASK 57-17-11-000-001).
(7)
Make sure that the left-hand fan plenum chamber, 10HM5 is removed (Ref. TASK 21-52-22-000-001).
