(1)
Put the access platform in position below the applicable access panels 550DB, 560AB and 550CB (650DB, 560AB and 650CB).
(2)
Remove the applicable access panels 550CB (650CB), 550DB (650DB) and 560AB (660AB) (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-002), (Ref. TASK 57-27-11-000-002), (Ref. TASK 28-12-45-000-001):

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Vent Surge Tank Harness
(1)
Get access through the opening 550CB(650CB) and loosen :
-
the clamp screw (5)
-
the electrical connector screws (1).
(2)
Cut and discard the cable ties (3).
(3)
Disconnect the end of the harness (4) from the sensor 28QJ1 (28QJ2).
(4)
Attach a length of cord to the inboard end of the harness (4). This will help to install a new harness.
(5)
Get access through the opening 560AB(660AB) and disconnect the bayonet electrical connector (11) from the connector (7).
(6)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(7)
Remove the nut (10) and the washer (9).
(8)
Get access through the opening 550DB(650DB) and cut and discard the cable tie (6).
(9)
Remove the connector (7) from the hole in RIB26.
(10)
Remove and discard the O-ring (8).
(11)
Carefully pull the harness (4), and the attached end of the cord, outboard from the conduit (2). When the cord hangs from the outboard end of the conduit (2), release it from the harness (4).
