R  A. Preparation for Installation 
R  (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a 
R  MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS 
R  (Material No. 11-026). 
R  (2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are 
R  clean and in the correct condition. 
R  (3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. 
R  (4) Lubricate with FUELS (Material No. 01-001) or COMMON GREASE (Material 
R  No. 04-012): 
R  - FOR 56QM, 57QM 
R  the new O-ring (4) and the new O-ring (5) 
R  - FOR 58QM, 60QM, 62QM, 208QM, 200QM 
R  the new O-ring (4) and the new O-ring (5) 
R  - FOR 59QM, 61QM, 63QM, 209QM, 201QM 
R  the new O-ring (4) and the new O-ring (5).

R  B. Installation of the Magnetic-Level-Indicator Assembly 
R  (1) Install the new O-ring (5) on the base (2).

R  (2) Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-007) to the interface

R  (4) Apply a thin layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-001) over the nuts 
R  (3) and the ends of the bolts (6). 
R  (5) Make sure the float (1) moves smoothly along the complete length of 
R  the MLI tube.
