R PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING.

R (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent areas with a
R MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS
R (Material No. 11-004)
R (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are
R clean and in the correct condition.

R B. Installation of the Magnetic-Level-Indicator Rod
R (1) Install the MLI rod (2) in the MLI housing.
R (2) Push the MLI rod (2) fully in, turn through 90 deg. and lock in
R position.

R CAUTION : DO NOT LET THE MLI's FALL FREELY._______
R (1) Release the MLI rod (2) and make sure it extends fully and smoothly.
R (2) Push the MLI rod (2) fully in and lock in position.
