A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) made moist with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-026).
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Shorting Plug Connectors
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(2)
Install the shorting plug connectors (1) on the harness connectors (5).

B. Installation of the Fused Plug Connectors
(1)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(2)
Install the fused plug connectors (1) on the harness connectors (5).
(3)
Attach the lanyards (2) to the support bracket with the screws (3) and the nuts (4).

D. Test
(1)
Do a status report (BITE) of the fuel-quantity indicating system (Ref. TASK 28-42-00-740-001).
(2)
Do a functional (BITE) test of the fuel-tank level-sensing system (Ref. TASK 28-46-00-740-001).
