A. Preparation for Removal
(1) Install the applicable tool: - FOR 57QT, 58QT install the HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) (98D57004014000) and the HOOK-COVER (RIB 2 SURGE DOORS) (98D57004013000)
- FOR 63QT, 64QT install the HOOK-COVER (RIB2-SURGE DOORS) (98D57004014000).
(2) Open the applicable hinged door: - FOR 57QT, 63QT open 574BB - FOR 58QT, 64QT open 674BB.
(3) Remove the electrical connector (7) from the applicable electrical backshell (8).

B. Removal of the Wing Tank Harness
(1)
Disconnect the Wing Tank Harness 57QT(58QT), 63QT(64QT) from inboard of the RIB 6.

(a) Disconnect the wing tank harness from the probes that follow (Ref. TASK 28-42-15-000-005):

FOR 57QT, 58QT 21QT1(21QT2) 54QT1(54QT2) 23QT1(23QT2) 25QT1(25QT2) 27QT1(27QT2)

FOR 63QT, 64QT 54QT1(54QT2) 56QT1(56QT2) 26QT1(26QT2).

(b) Disconnect the wing tank harness from the sensors that follow (Ref. TASK 28-46-15-000-001) (Ref. TASK 28-46-17-000-001) (Ref. TASK 28-46-19-000-001):

FOR 57QT, 58QT 16QJ1(16QJ2) 29QJ1(29QJ2) 38QJ1(38QJ2) 39QJ1(39QJ2) 40QJ1(40QJ2)

Disconnect the wing tank harness 57QT(58QT), 63QT(64QT) from outboard of the RIB 6.

(a) Disconnect the wing tank harness from the probes that follow (Ref. TASK 28-42-15-000-005):
