Hold the spring rod (3) and remove the bolt (12) with the bush

Move the spring rod (3) clear of the lever shaft (4).

R R R (1) Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized and put them in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

R R (4) Make sure that the RUD TRIM indicator on the panel 110VU of the center pedestal shows zero.
