The face features:
-2 display windows wich have Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) with a high contrast:

1 ACTIVE frequency display window for frequencies output by the RMP.

1 STBY/CRS (standby/course) display window for preset frequencies (and courses for the VOR and the ILS)
-1 transfer pushbutton switch (double arrow) which permits the transfer of frequencies from one display to the other
-5 pushbutton switches with selection feedback for the selection of the VHF and HF systems.

1 SEL indicator light (white LED) to indicate the interactions between the different RMPs.

1 dual selector knob for frequency and course setting

1 dual "turbo tuning" selector knob permits frequency and course setting proportionally to its rotation speed.

.AM pushbutton switch for the HF system .BFO pushbutton switch for the ADF system (this pushbutton switch is not used on the RMP2) (if installed)
