 Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
 (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 On the face of the transceivers, make sure that no lights are on.

1. On the RMP1:
 -Set the ON/OFF selector switch to ON.
-Push the HF1 (HF2) pushbutton switch.
-In the STBY/CRS display window, with the dual selector knob, set the frequency of a station that transmits.
 -Start this frequency. To do this, push the transfer pushbutton switch (double arrow) between the two display windows.
 2. On the ACP of the station under maintenance:
 -
Push the HF1 (HF2) transmission pushbutton switch.

Push and release the HF1 (HF2) reception pushbutton switch.


-Set the INT/RAD switch to RAD and release it (You can do this
-
The RMP shows the last frequenciesand the last function used.

The green LED on this pushbuttonswitch comes on.

The SEL indicator light (white LED) comes on.

The frequency set comes into view inthe ACTIVE display window.

The green bars on the HF1 (HF2)transmission pushbutton switch come on.

The reception pushbutton switch movesfully out and comes on.
