 F. Static Discharging (Ref. 23-60) During flight, the aircraft becomes charged with static electricity. If the discharge of the static electricity is not controlled, it causes interference in the communications and navigation systems. To decrease the effect of this interference, static dischargers are installed.
 G. Audio and video monotoring and intercommunication This system comprise:
 (1) Cockpit Voice Recorder System (CVR) (Ref. 23-71) In flight and on the ground, the CVR records crew conversations and communications on a magnetic tape when at least one engine is running or up to five minutes after the second engine is shut down irrespective of which engine is shut down first. The system can also be operated on the ground in manual mode.

R R R R R  (2) Anti Hijack System - Cockpit Door Surveillance System (Ref. 23-72) The Cockpit Door Surveillance System (CDSS) uses cameras in the cockpit entrance and in the left and right door 1 areas. They let the flight crew monitor the door 1 area and identify persons who request access to the cockpit.

R  (3) Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. 23-73) The Cabin Intercommunication Data System is a microprocessor-based system used to accomplish the functional control, operation, testing, and monitoring of a variety of cabin systems. The basic CIDS performs the following system functions: - Passenger Address - Passenger Call - Passenger Lighted Signs - General Cabin Illumination Control

 -Cabin and Flight Crew Interphone
 -Emergency evacuation signalling
 -Lavatory Smoke Warning
 -Escape Slide Reservoir Pressure Monitoring
-Service Interphone (partially integrated into the CIDS)
 -Extended Emergency Lighting Test.
R (4) Cabin Management System (Ref. 23-74) The Cabin Management System (CMS) provides a direct contact for the cabin crew with the ground. The attendants use the CMS to send and receive real-time data on for example beverages, passenger information and reservations, maintenance reports, catering and security. The CMS uses the Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to transmit and receive data (Ref. 23-24-00).

 1. General
_______ The High Frequency (HF) system serves for all long-distance voice communications between different aircraft (in flight or on the ground), or between the aircraft and one or several ground stations. The HF system operates within the frequency range defined by ARINC 719 (i.e.
 2.8 to 23.999 MHz, with 1 KHz spacing between channels). R **ON A/C 001-049, 051-099, 101-105, 151-199, 201-210, 301-399, 401-499,
The aircraft is provided with a double HF system.
