R A. Removal of the VHF Antenna 4RC1 R 
R (1) Remove the sealant from the heads of the screws (2) with a SCRAPER -R NON METALLIC. 
R (2) Remove the sealant from the antenna base (1) and the fuselage R structure with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC. 
R (3) Remove the screws (2) from the antenna (1).

R  (4) Lift the antenna (1) until you can see the coaxial cable connector  
R  (3)  
R  (5) Disconnect the coaxial cable connector (3) from the antenna connector  
R  (4).  
R  (6) Safety the coaxial cable (5). Put masking tape BONDING AND ADHESIVE  
R  COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-074) around the coaxial cable (5) and  
R  attach it to the fuselage.  
R  (7) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.  
R  (8) Remove and discard the O-ring (6) from the antenna (1).

R  B. Removal of the VHF Antenna 4RC2  
R  (1) Remove the sealant from the heads of the screws (2) and (7) with a  
R  SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.  
R  (2) Remove the sealant from the antenna base (8) and the fuselage  
R  structure with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.  
R  (3) Remove the screws (2) and (7) from the antenna (8).  
R  (4) Lift the antenna (8) until you can see the coaxial cable connector  
R  (3)  
R  (5) Disconnect the coaxial cable connector (3) from the antenna connector  
R  (4).  
R  (6) Safety the coaxial cable (5). Put masking tape BONDING AND ADHESIVE  
R  COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-074) around the coaxial cable (5) and  
R  attach it to the fuselage.  
R  (7) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.  
R  (8) Remove and discard the O-ring (6) from the antenna (8).
