C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position at the access door 824.
(2) Make sure that the access platform on the left side of the aircraft below the valve.

R A. Installation of the Skin Air-Inlet Valve
R R (1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R (2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
R R NOTE : Make sure that the deactivation switch of the valve is in the____ ON position.
R (3) Remove the blanking plug from the air inlet.
R (4) Install a new O-ring (2) in the groove of the valve (4).
R R (5) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019) between the structure (1) and the valve (4).
R (6) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
R (7) Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
R (8) Connect the electrical connector (5).
R (9) Put the valve (4) in position on the structure (1).
R (10) Install the screws (3) and tighten.
R R NOTE : Make sure you do the bonding with the screw at the top and the____ screw at the bottom (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 3HQ, 5HQ, 6HQ

C. Do an operational test of the ventilation system of the avionics

NOTE : As an alternative procedure, you can do this operational test

B. De-energize the ground service network
