R A. Opening Procedure of the Conditioned-Air Inlet Valve
R (1) On the VENTILATION section of the overhead panel 22VU:
R - release the EXTRACT pushbutton switch (the OVRD legend comes on).
R (2) On the conditioned-air inlet valve 21HQ:
R (a) Disconnect the connector 21HQ-A from the valve 21HQ.
R (b) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connectors.
R (c) Keep the electrical cable and its connector near the valve.
R (d) Fully open the valve 21HQ with the manual mechanism.
R (3) On the bottom part of the upper ECAM display unit:
R - the VENT AVNCS SYS FAULT warning comes into view.
R Ignore this warning.
R On the ECAM control panel:
R - push the CLR key.
R (4) Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these)
R circuit breaker(s):
R 5HQ.
R (5) Do an operational test of the the avionics equipment ventilation from
R the MCDU (Ref. TASK 21-26-00-710-001).
