(1) Put the access platform in position on the right side of the aircraft, below the valve 22HQ.
(2) Put the access platform at the access door 822.
(3) Open the access door 822.

R A. Partial Opening Procedure of the Extract Valve
CAUTION : DO NOT USE FORCE TO TURN THE HANDLE. THERE ARE SHEAR PINS IN_______ THE HANDLE. IF YOU APPLY FORCE TO THE HANDLE WHEN THE FLAP IS IN THE FULLY OPEN OR CLOSED POSITION, THE SHEAR PINS WILL BREAK.

(1) If the skin-air outlet valve 22HQ (type A) is installed:
(a)
Push the PUSH handle latch to release the handle.
(b)
Pull the handle to engage the mechanism.
(c)
Fold out the handle.
(d)
Set the deactivation switch to OFF.
(e)
Turn the handle clockwise to open the integrated auxiliary flap.
(f)
Fold, stow and latch the handle. NOTE : The integrated auxiliary flap opens when the main flap
____ closes.
(2) If the skin-air outlet valve 22HQ (type B) is installed:
(a)
When the valve is fully closed (main and auxiliary flaps closed):
(b)
When the valve is fully open (main and auxiliary flaps open): 1 Push the PUSH handle latch to release the handle.
1_ Push the PUSH handle latch to release the handle.
2_ Pull the handle to engage the mechanism.
3_ Set the deactivation switch to OFF.
4_ Turn the handle clockwise to open the integrated auxiliary
flap only.
5_ Stow and latch the handle.
NOTE : When the integrated auxiliary flap is open, if you____
continue to turn the handle clockwise, the main flap
opens.

2 Pull the handle to engage the mechanism.
_
3 Set the deactivation switch to OFF.
_
4 Turn the handle counterclockwise until the main flap closes.
