F. Safety Precautions
(1)
On the panel 30VU:
(a)
Make sure that:
-
the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is in the off position (the ON legend is off) and,
-
the ENG 1 BLEED and the ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches are in the off position (the OFF legends are on).
(b)
Put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate these pushbutton switches.
(2)
On the HP and the LP ground connector put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to supply the ground air.

A. Inspection (Ref. Fig. 601/TASK 21-20-00-991-004, 602/TASK 21-20-00-991-006)
(1) Do a general visual inspection of the riser ducts for:
-breakages, cracks and delamination of the composite material,
-security of installation of the duct system and,
-correct installation and general condition of the duct connections.

Do a check of the critical distance of 25 mm (0.9842 in.) between the riser duct (1) and the dado panel holder (2). If the distance is less than 25 mm (0.9842 in.) continue as follows:
-wind 2 layers of tape (3) BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-107) around the riser duct (1),
-cut a piece of the tape (4) BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-085) of 25 mm (0.9842 in.) x 40 mm (1.5748 in.) and put it in position in the area of the dado panel fastener,
-wind 2 layers of tape (3) BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-107) around the riser duct (1).

Replace any worn, delaminated or damaged components and safety any loose installation (refer to examples in) (Ref. TASK 21-20-00-010-001) and, (Ref. TASK 21-20-00-410-001)
