(1) Remove the instrument panel cover. Refer to Section 25-10.
(2) Do an engine run-up. Refer to Section 71-01.
(3) Make a note of the vacuum value.
(4) If necessary, adjust the vacuum regulator: S Bend the lock-tabs away from the T-bar. S Turn the T-bar to adjust the vacuum. S Bend the lock-tabs to lock the T-bar. The vacuum must be 4.8 - 5.4 inHg at 1800 RPM. On the bottom of the regulator. Monitor the vacuum value.
(5) Shut down the engine.
(6) Install the instrument panel cover. Refer to Section 25-10.

(2) Release the flexible hose to the vacuum gauge. Refer to Figure 2. Put a cap on the hose end.
(3) Remove the bezel nut that attaches the gauge to the instrument panel.
(4) Remove the gauge from the instrument panel.

(1) Put the vacuum gauge in position in the instrument panel. Refer to Figure 2.
(2) Install the bezel nut that attaches the gauge.
(3) Connect the flexible hose to the vacuum gauge.
(4) Install the instrument panel cover. Refer to Section 25-10.
(5) Do an engine run-up. Refer to Section 71-01. Do a test for correct operation of the vacuum system. If necessary, adjust the system.
