For power supplies installed on air conditioning ducts, lower sculptured ceiling panel under power supply.
3. Replace Battery Pack
A. Turn quarter turn fasteners counterclockwise to a solid stop (Fig. 201).
B. Slide battery pack straight back away from electronics assembly until sockets have cleared mating pins (approximately .04 inches).
CAUTION DO NOT RAISE BACK END OF BATTERY PACK UNTIL SOCKETS HAVE CLEARED ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY MATING PINS. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO MATING PINS AND/OR BATTERY PACK.
C. Remove battery pack.
D. Verify that new battery pack installation date on instruction tag has not expired. DO NOT REMOVE INSTRUCTION TAG FROM BATTERY PACK.
E. Place new battery pack on power supply chassis and slide toward electronics assembly until sockets mate with pins.
F. Push to electronics assembly until battery pack is firmly seated.
G. Turn quarter turn fasteners clockwise to the detent position.
NOTE: An audible click will indicate when detent position is reached.
H. Test emergency lights (Ref 33-51-02, A/T).
I. Close items opened in step 2.C.
