4. Relamp White Navigation Tail Light (Fig. 201)
A. Remove three lens retaining screws.
B. Remove collar and lens.
C. Replace lamp.
D. Clean lens with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
E. Slip collar over lens and install with three screws.
F. Test navigation light per par. 5.
5. Test Navigation Lights
A. Provide electrical power.
B. Check that POSITION light circuit breakers on P18-3 circuit breaker panel are closed.
C. Set POSITION light switch on overhead panel P5. Observe navigation lights come on.
D. Return POSITION light switch to OFF.
E. Remove electrical power if no longer required.

WING FIXED NAVIGATION LIGHT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. General
A. The following procedures provide instructions for replacing the colored and white navigation lights. Refer to 33-45-11 for maintenance practices on wingtip strobe lights, as applicable.
B. The window covering the colored navigation lights is carefully sealed against possible entry of fuel vapors and should not be removed. A panel on the underside of the wingtip provides access to the lights.

3. Remove Colored Navigation Lights (Fig. 401)
A. Remove access panel on underside of wingtip.
B. Remove electrical wiring from terminals.
C. Remove lockwiring from lens retaining screw.
D. Remove three mounting screws and remove light.
4. Install Colored Navigation Lights (Fig. 401)
A. Position lens and lens retainer assembly in bracket.
NOTE: Install with indexing pin hole down on left wing or with indexing pin hole up on right wing.
B. Install lens retaining screw and lockwire.
C. Install lamp in socket with silvered portion facing aft and tighten pressure nut finger-tight.
D. Align indexing pin with hole in lens; place light assembly base in position and install with two captive screws.
E. Connect electrical wiring to terminals.
F. Seal the electrical terminals for a fuel vapor area (SWPM 20-30-00).
WARNING: MAKE SURE YOU SEAL EACH BARE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO PREVENT AN EXPLOSION OF THE FUEL FUMES. AN EXPLOSION CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

G. Install access panel.
H. Test navigation lights.

Apply electrical power.
(2)
Check that STEADY circuit breaker on P18-3 panel is closed.

Place POSITION light switch on overhead panel P5 to STEADY. Observe navigation light comes on.
(4)
Return POSITION light switch to OFF.
(5)
Remove electrical power if no longer required.

A. Remove three screws retaining light assembly in tube.
