On each frame of the cargo door:

the rigging pin must engage in the rigging hole of the bellcrank bolt if the lower dead center is correctly adjusted.
-each latching unit is free andmovable.
On the cargo door:
-
the locking cams of the locking shaftrelease the latching hooks and thevent door opens.
-
the force must be less than 18 daN (40.4656 lbf).
-
the latching hooks disengage from thelatch fittings and the cargo doormoves in the open direction.
-
the force must be less than 18 daN (40.4656 lbf).
On the cargo door:

5. On the cargo door:
R R R - move the latching handle down to the LOCKED position and measure the force necessary with a SPRING BALANCE 20 DAN (48 LBF)
R R - push the door handle in the recess of the door structure and measure the force necessary with a SPRING BALANCE 20 DAN (48 LBF).

the cargo door actuators retract andclose the cargo door.
On the cargo door:
-
the locking hooks engage with thelock fittings and lock the cargo door in the closed position.
-
the force must be less than 18 daN (40.4656 lbf).
-
the vent door closes,
-
the lock of the cams block thelatching hooks,
-
the door handle is locked.
-
the force must be less than 18 daN (40.4656 lbf).
R (5) Install the access panel 825AR.

B. Test of the Locking Mechanism (Ref. Fig. 502A/TASK 52-31-00-991-002)
(1) Make sure that the cargo door is correctly closed and locked (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the access panel 825AR to get access to the cargo door mechanism.
R (3) Remove the handle flap mechanism to get access to the applicable rigging holes (Ref. TASK 52-31-21-000-002).
R (4) If necessary, adjust the locking mechanism (Ref. TASK 52-31-11-820-002).

1. On each frame of the cargo door: R - install the rigging pin R 98D52307525200 into the rigging R hole below the locking shaft to R examine the upper dead center.
R - install the rigging pin R 98D52307525100 in the rigging R hole behind the safety shaft to
examine the lower dead center.
-make sure that the rigging pins are removed from the last frame.
2. On the cargo door:
-pull the locking handle away from the recess of the handle flap and measure the force
R necessary with a SPRING BALANCE R 20 DAN (48 LBF).
-turn the locking handle down to the UNLOCKED position and measure the force necessary
R with a SPRING BALANCE 20 DAN R (48 LBF).
3. On the control panel:
-set the selector to the CLOSE position and hold it.
