E. Prepare the APU for Purge.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector P10 from the ignition unit.
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Put the container below the primary fuel manifold.
(4)
Disconnect the primary fuel-feed pipe at the primary fuel manifold.
(5)
Make sure that the APU intake and exhaust blanking plugs are removed. Subtask 49-00-00-865-101
F.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.

A. Fuel System Purge
(1)
On the panel 25VU, push the APU MASTER SW to the ON position.
(2)
On the panel 25VU, push the APU START switch to the ON position. NOTE : To cancel the motoring cycle, push the APU MASTER SW to the

OFF position.
(3)
The starter motor de-energizes after approximately 30 seconds.
(4)
Cancel the motoring cycle when the fuel flow from the disconnected fuel pipe is free of air and/or oil.
(5)
On the panel 25VU, push the APU MASTER SW to the OFF position.

(5)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
