_______ CORRECTLY TORQUED BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE HOIST. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE TIE RODS.

A. Removal of the HOIST - MINILIFT
(Ref. Fig. 202/TASK 49-00-00-991-008)
(1)
Make sure that the APU is correctly installed and the APU mount nuts are correctly torqued (Ref. TASK 49-11-11-400-003).
(2)
Disconnection of the HOIST - MINILIFT from the APU
(a)
Turn the upper drum shaft of the HOIST - MINILIFT (10) in a counterclockwise direction until you have removed the tension from the cable (3).
(b)
Remove the quick release pin (6) and disconnect the shackle (5) from the adapter of the APU (9).
(c)
Remove the quick release pin (4) and disconnect the shackle (5) from the cable (3) of the HOIST - MINILIFT (10).
(3)
Removal of the HOIST - MINILIFT from the APU compartment
(a)
Hold the HOIST - MINILIFT (10) in position and remove the quick release pin (8) from the bearing assy (7) on the LH side of the APU compoartment.
(b)
Hold the HOIST - MINILIFT (10) in position and remove the quick release pin (2) from the APU hoist bracket (1) on the top firewall of the APU compartment.
(c)
Remove the HOIST - MINILIFT (10) from the APU compartment.
(d)
Install the quick release pins (2) and (8) temporarily on the HOIST - MINILIFT (10).

A. Close Access
(1)
Install the APU oil cooler outlet-duct (Ref. TASK 49-52-41-400-002)
(2)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(3)
Close or install the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001) (Ref. TASK 52-41-21-400-001).
(4)
Set the light switch 11LJ to the off position.
(5)
Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 49-00-00-865-084
B.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD, 1WF, 2WF, 3WF, 4WF.

C. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.

De-energize the ground service network (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(2)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(3)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

THE AREA OF THE OIL-COOLER OUTLET.
THERE IS A RISK OF INJURY IF YOU GO INTO THESE AREAS.
CAUTION : DO NOT USE THE APU DURING FLUID DE-ICING OPERATIONS. DE-ICING FLUID
_______ CAN CONTAMINATE THE INSIDE OF THE APU.
CAUTION : DO NOT TRY TO START THE APU A FOURTH TIME UNTIL THE STARTER MOTOR IS
_______ COOL (60 MINUTES MINIMUM). WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU TRY TO START THE APU THREE TIMES, WITH AN INTERVAL OF ONE MINUTE BETWEEN EACH TIME THAT YOU TRY.
CAUTION : DO NOT START THE APU WITH ACCESS DOORS 315AL AND 316AR OPEN/REMOVED.
_______ THE APU FIRE EXTINGUISHER SYSTEM IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO EXTINGUISH A FIRE IF THE ACCESS DOORS 315AL AND 316AR ARE OPEN/REMOVED.
CAUTION : DO NOT TRY TO START THE APU AGAIN DURING A REFUEL/DEFUEL PROCEDURE
