-remove the drain-plug housing and replace the packing (Ref. TASK 49-91-42-400-001).

Examine the gravity oil-filler cap and the filler-housing nut for oil leakage. If oil is found:
(a)
in the scupper:
-replace the filler-cap seal
(b)
under the scupper:
-remove the filler-housing nut and replace the packing.

Examine the fuel pump/oil pump interface for oil leakage. If an oil leakage is found or suspected:
-remove the fuel pump and replace the packing (Ref. TASK 49-32-11-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-32-11-400-001).

Examine the oil pump/gearbox interface for oil leakage. If an oil
leakage is found or suspected,
(a) Remove the oil pump and replace:
-
the oil feed-transfer bobbin packing,
-
the oil return-transfer bobbin packing,
-
the gearbox interface packing (Ref. TASK 49-91-45-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-91-45-400-001).

Examine the turbine-bearing oil-pressure feed and scavenge fitting (6 o'clock position) for oil leakage. If an oil leakage is found/suspected:
-
replace the scavenge-tube slip-fitting packing
-
replace the pressure-tube slip-fitting packing
-
replace the fitting packing (Ref. TASK 49-91-53-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-91-53-400-001).

Examine the turbine-bearing vent-tube assembly for oil leakage. If an oil leackage is found or suspected at:
(a)
the turbine-bearing vent-tube assembly:
-replace the vent-fitting elbow packing.
(b)
the check valve/vent fitting:
-replace the check valve.
(c)
the check valve/vent tube:
-replace the tube (Ref. TASK 49-91-53-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-91-53-400-001).

Examine the oil level switch/gearbox interface for oil leakage. If an oil leakage is found or suspected:
-remove the switch and replace the packing (Ref. TASK 49-93-16-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-93-16-400-001).

Examine the de-oil solenoid/gearbox interface for oil leakage. If an oil leakage is found or suspected:
-replace the packing (Ref. TASK 49-91-49-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-91-49-400-001).

Examine the oil pressure/temperature assembly for oil leakage. If an oil leakage is found or suspected at:
(a)
The oil temperature switch/mount block interface:
-replace the packing (Ref. TASK 49-94-13-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-94-13-400-001).
(b)
The oil pressure switch/mount block interface:
-replace the packing (Ref. TASK 49-94-14-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-94-14-400-001).
(c)
The mount block or tube unions:
-replace the assembly (Ref. TASK 49-94-00-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 49-94-00-400-001).
(15)
Examine the gearbox regulator-valve assembly for oil leakage. If an oil leakage is found or suspected:
-
replace the transfer tube packings (10) and (11),
-
replace the interface packing (2) (Ref. TASK 49-26-53-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 49-26-53-400-001).
