A. Removal of the Torque Shafts
(1)
Install a LOCK-TORQUE SHAFT (FLAPS AND SLATS) WITH CLAMP-PIVOT (98D27504030001) (Ref. TASK 27-50-00-400-003): - on the torque shaft, inboard of the applicable component - on the torque shaft, outboard of the applicable component.
(2)
Remove the nuts (2), the bolts (4) and the shaft (3).
(3)
Remove the universal joint (1).
(4)
Remove the retaining ring (6), the pin (7) and the universal joint (5).
