- The use of FPV is recommended, keeping the bird on the horizon will help to maintain altitude.
- Any time bank exceeds 450, all display on PFD including the FMA will disappear, other than altitude speed, heading.

  450 BANK TURNS ( PITCH FEEL OFF )

  When pitch feel is set to OFF, It will go automatically in Low Speed Position (Light Control Forces). In case of actual failure in flight, speed is limited to 285/.78 to avoid high load factors.

- If both system failed and selecting OFF/R, extinguishes the fault lights, pitch feel is in Low Speed Configuration.
- If both system failed and selecting OFF/R, do not extinguish either fault light, pitch feel is in high speed configuration. Expect higher control forces during approach and landing.

  APPROACH TO STALL

  O (Green Dot) is 1.45 Vs in clean configuration (below 10,000 ft.)
  S is approx. 1.5 Vs with Slats 15 / Flaps 0
  F is approx. 1.41 Vs with Slats 20 / Flaps 20

  VLS (Top of amber strip) is 1.3 Vs with Slats 30 / Flaps 40 and L/G down and for any other configuration except during T/O (1.2 Vs)

  VSS (Top of black and red strip) is:

 1.138 Vs Clean configuration
 1.08 Vs any other configuration

  No data card is to be prepared as PFD will provide speed symbols for each configuration.
  STALL CLEAN (Below FL200 )

- ATS levers OFF / FD's OFF
- Set N1 55%
- Select higher Altitude on FCU
- Check TOGA on TRP
- Maintain a slight positive rate of climb (200-300 ft./min)
- Trim the aircraft until VLS, No trimming below VLS
- Continue to increase pitch attitude until stick shaker.
- Maintain a firm back pressure on the control wheel to counter alpha trim, continue speed reduction to stick shaker activation.
- At stick shaker/cricket sound.
- Move throttles full forward "SLAT 15".
- Fly down to +100 pitch.
- Speed Above VLS, VSI positive climb
- Recovery is complete at 'S' speed.

Note: This is the only case of stall where change of configuration is made, in all other cases the configuration remains unchanged at the moment of the recovery.

  STALL RECOVERY  ( ABOVE FL 200 )

- Check MCT on TRP
- Full thrust, NO SLATS (No change of configuration )
- Fly down to 00 pitch.
- Speed above VLS increase pitch to climb
- Recovery Green dot./ Nose up to maintain Green dot/ Adjust throttles
- Recovery completed.

  STALL LANDING CONFIG.

- Set ATS lever OFF/ FD OFF
- Set N1 55%
- Select Higher Alt.
- Check TOGA on TRP
- Maintain a slight positive rate of climb (200-300 ft./min)
- Speed below 245, extend SLAT 150, Select 'S' speed
