• Normal procedures are applied
• Atleast 400ft above runway in case of failure during take off, approach or go around.
• Appropriate command by Capt.

The sequence of actions should be :
1. Identifying, calling out the abnormal/emergency situation, and cancelling audio
          warning.
2. Memory Items
3. ECAM Actions
4. QRH Actions. (If a C/L need to be interrupted, announce “HOLD C/L AT______”
and  “RESUME C/L AT_______” for continuation.)
5. Time permitting refer to the FCOM Vol. 2 Emergency / Abnormal explanation notes.

Note: An attempt must be made to note down as many parameters of the abnormal situation as possible for analyzing the problem and reporting for rectification.
Except in cases (e.g Engine failure after T/O etc.) where detailed procedures are given in this document, the following sequence is recommended:

1. For Take-off / Departures
 First carry out the ‘After T/O checklist’ down to the line, then carry out the Abnormal Checklist.

2. For Approach and landing
First the Abnormal Checklist, then the Normal Checklist.

CRM (Cockpit or Crew Resource Management)
CRM means maximizing mission effectiveness and safety through effective utilization of all available resources (especially in a time-constrained environment & under stress.) It has been proven many times that two heads (or more) are better than one.
The case studies in the CRM course you attended have proven this beyond any doubt. Therefore, it is vitally important that the crew should endeavour to assist each other to their best ability with their CRM skills.
REACTION TO THE ONSET OF AN ABNORMAL SITUATION
Sometimes it is better to take a deep breath & think for a little time rather than responding to an ECAM warning with undue haste. It has been proven many times that a careless response to an ECAM warning would invariably lead the crew astray in handling an abnormal situation.
Even for a third level warning such as IN FLIGHT ENGINE FIRE, we do not carry out the ECAM actions until passing 400 ft. after take-off. At that crucial moment, maintaining the flight path and keeping clear of ground are  more critical.
  HANDLING AN ABNORMAL SITUATION:
There are certain well thought out patterns in handling an abnormal situation. Initially the crew will have to respond to some kind of warning(s), typically an ECAM or other external visual or audio warning (though not necessarily). You should do the following:-
ECAM- Carry out your actions, usually at least till STATUS page if
