24-00 8) Visually inspect all cable connections in the vertical stabilizer. 300 X X
Replace cables if damaged. Inspect cables for routing, clamp security, lugs and cleanliness.
24-30 DC generation
24-30 1) Remove the battery. Inspect the battery tray and the shims for condition, cracks and corrosion. 000 X X
Install the battery - refer to 24-30-02 201.
24-30 2) Check battery electrolyte level, condition of lugs and inspect for evidence of oxidation - refer to 24-30-02 201. 000 X X X 0 NOTE 1
24-30 3) Visually inspect (do not remove) the
electrical power system (switch-breakers on panel, breakers on side panel, printed circuits on the firewall L.H. door) and (if installed) the Radio-Master-Switch
forward of the circuit breaker panel. 200 X X
Check fuses, markings, pins, lugs and
attach fittings.
24-30 4) Visually inspect the voltage regulator and (if installed) the overvoltage relay, inspect
support, attach fittings and cables - refer to 24-30-00 201. 200 X
24-30 5) Perform an overhaul of the alternator. 100 Associated

Check the tension of a new belt after the first 25 operating hours.

Service Instruction 1129, for belt tension adjustment.
NOTE 1 : If a 100-hr. inspection has been carried out during the last 3 months, do not perform the operations identified with a "0" unless the annual inspection replaces a 100-hr. inspection. For US registered aircraft, perform all operations.
