(1) Use a hardwood wedge or a rigid-bristle brush to remove compound that is loose or damaged.

WARNING: DO NOT GET SOLVENTS IN YOUR MOUTH, OR YOUR EYES, OR ON YOUR SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM SOLVENTS. SOLVENTS ARE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. SOLVENTS MAY BE FLAMMABLE OR HARMFUL TO THE ENVIRONMENT. REFER TO PRODUCT MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS) AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PROPER HANDLING PROCEDURES.

Use a cloth that is moist with solvent to clean the structure and any compound that remains on the surface.

For an aluminum surface that does not have a protective layer, do these steps.
(a) Apply a layer of Alodine 1200 (Ref 51-21-41).

(b) Apply one layer of primer to the surface of the aluminum.
(4) S 348-004-B00Mix the compound and the catalyst.
(5) S 348-005-B00Pour the mixture around the drain.
(6) S 348-008-B00Make sure the compound is level with the top of the drain hole or the bottom of the drain valve retainer opening.
NOTE:____ Make sure the airplane is in a level position when you pour the compound. Do not move the airplane before the compound is hard (approx. 6 hours at 72 +/- 5 degrees). The full cure time is 7 days.

A. This procedure contains one task:
(1) The task is to examine the internal drainage.
B. You must examine the internal drains with a regular schedule to make sure the drainage operates correctly, and to help prevent a fire or corrosion.
