WARNING: DO NOT GET ORGANIC PAINT STRIPPERS IN YOUR MOUTH OR EYES, OR ON
_______ YOUR SKIN OR CLOTHES. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES OF THE PAINT STRIPPERS. PUT ON CHEMICAL RESISTANT GLOVES, HATS, COATS, GOGGLES OR PLASTIC FACE SHIELDS WHEN YOU USE THE PAINT STRIPPERS. KEEP THE PAINT STRIPPERS AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME AND HEAT. THE PAINT STRIPPERS ARE POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT USE PAINT STRIPPERS ON COMPOSITE PANELS. PAINT STRIPPERS CAN CAUSE STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO THE COMPOSITE PANELS.
(1) Remove the paint.
(a)
Before you remove the paint, make sure the surface is dry and the temperature is 50 °F to 100 °F. Do not do this procedure in hot or wet weather.
(b)
Apply the paint stripper on the paint.
NOTE: The surface must be wet with the paint stripper at all
____
times.
(c)
Remove the paint before the paint stripper dries with the applicable tools. 1) Use a soft scrapper or a brush if you apply the paint
stripper with a spray gun or a brush. 2) Use a piece of wood or a plastic scrapper if you apply the paint stripper with a squirt bottle or a cheesecloth.
(d)
Flush the area with high pressure hot water.
(e)
Dry the surface with a cheesecloth.
E. Remove the Adhesives (Table I)

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE PAINT STRIPPER DOES NOT TOUCH THE SURFACE FOR
_______ MORE THAN 2 HOURS. DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE CAN OCCUR IF THE PAINT STRIPPER TOUCHES THE SURFACE FOR A LONGER TIME.
(1) Remove the adhesives.
(a) Apply a small quantity of the paint stripper on the adhesive with a brush. 1) Do not let the paint stripper fall on the aluminum
surfaces.

(b)
Let the paint stripper absorb the adhesive for 30 minutes.
(c)
Remove the paint stripper and loosened adhesive with a cheesecloth, or a wood or plastic scrapper.
(d)
Apply the paint stripper again to remove all of the unwanted adhesive, if it is necessary.
(e)
Use one of these methods to flush and clean the surface: 1) Flush the surface with a sponge soaked with water.
WARNING: DO NOT GET METHYL ETHYL KETONE (MEK) IN YOUR MOUTH OR
_______ EYES, OR ON YOUR SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM MEK. PUT ON A PROTECTIVE SPLASH GOGGLE AND GLOVES WHEN YOU USE MEK. KEEP MEK AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME, AND HEAT. MEK IS A POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE SOLVENT WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
2) Flush and clean the surface with a solvent mixture (1:1 by volume) of toluene and methyl ethyl ketone.
(f) Dry the surface with a clean cheesecloth.
F. Remove the High Temperature Primer (BMS 10-53) (Table I)

CAUTION:_______DO NOT USE WATER UNTIL YOU REMOVE THE PRIMER. THE WATER MAKES THE EPOXY HARD.
(1) Remove the high temperature primer.
(a)
Apply Turco 5292B, full strength, with a brush.
