WARNING: OBEY ALL SAFETY STANDARDS FOR COMPRESSION AND DECOMPRESSION
_______ WHEN PERSONS ARE IN A PRESSURIZED AREA. SUDDEN PRESSURE CHANGES WILL CAUSE PAIN AND INJURY AND MUST NOT BE DONE. WHEN YOU DO NOT OBEY THE PRECAUTIONS, INJURY TO PERSONS WILL OCCUR.
 (3)
When persons are in the airplane during this test, they must be in good physical condition. When a person feels pain during a pressure change, you must make the pressure stable immediately or it must be lowered. Do this until the person can make the pressure equal in their ears, or be removed from the airplane.

 (4)
Many small leakage areas can add to create an excessive fuselage leakage rate. Therefore, it is recommended that all sources of leakage be repaired.

 (1)  Physically lock the equipment cooling flow control valve in the fully closed position for the full test.
NOTE: The equipment cooling flow control valve can be closed and
____ locked with a box wrench. Attach the box wrench to the airplane structure with lockwire to hold the valve closed. For the valves with a screwdriver slot, close the valves with a screwdriver.
There is an alternative procedure: Remove the equipment cooling flow control valve and plug the exhaust hole.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVE POWER TO ALL PROPELLER OR IMPELLER
_______ TYPE FANS (EXCEPT EQUIPMENT COOLING FANS) WITHIN THE PRESSURIZED CABIN IF THE PRESSURE WILL EXCEED 15.7 PSIA. PRESSURE GREATER THAN 15.7 PSIA CAN CAUSE THE FAN TO WORK TOO HARD AND OVERHEAT. THIS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE FAN.
 (2)  Set the right recirculating fan switch to off.

HOW TO USE CURVE:
EXAMPLE:  ASSUME A DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE OF 3.3 PSIG IS MEASURED AFTER 50 SECONDS. THE CABIN TEMPERATURE IS 80`F AND THE AMBIENT PRESSURE IS 12.50 PSIA.
THE CORRRECTED TIME, TO BE PLOTTED ON THE FIGURE 202 CURVE, IS EQUAL TO THE MEASURED TIME DIVIDED BY BOTH THE TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE CORRECTION FACTORS. FROM CURVES BELOW: TEMPERATURE CORRECTION FACTOR IS 0.99 AND PRESSURE CORRECTION FACTOR IS 1.08. THE PRODUCT OF THE TWO FACTORS IS 1.07. THUS, TIME CORRECTED TO AN AMBIENT PRESSURE OF 14.7 PSIA AND CABIN TEMPERATURE OF 70`F IS EQUAL TO 50 DIVIDED BY 1.07 = 47 SECONDS.

0.90 1.00 1.10 1.20 1.30 1.40
CORRECTION FACTOR
NOTE:CORRECTION FACTOR TO BE APPLIED TO BLEED DOWN TIME WHEN AMBIENT PRESSURE DOES NOT EQUAL 14.7 PSIA AND/OR CABIN TEMPERATURE DOES NOT EQUAL 70`F.
