(5) S 212-019Examine the landing gear assemblies, related components and hydraulic lines for damage and/or hydraulic fluid leakage.
(6) S 212-020Examine the wheel well doors and wheel well door actuating rods for damage and/or blockage from pieces of the tire.
(7) S 212-021Examine the other tires for possible damage (AMM 32-45-00/601).
NOTE:____ Carefully inspect the other tires for slash and/or wire penetration damage of the tread or the sidewall.
(8) S 212-022Examine the engine nacelles and inlets (Ref Chapter 72) for damage when the nose gear tire tread is lost or the nose gear tire burst.

FLAT SPOTTED TIRES - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES (CONDITIONAL INSPECTION)

1. General_______
A. Examine the wheel and brake components and systmes after tires become flat spotted. The tires are damaged when a locked wheel slides (not a tire structural failure) and the cause is not apparent. Examine in the sequence in this section.
B. The examinations are divided into two phases. Phase I examinations are for conditions where only one tire is flat spotted. Phase II examinations are for conditions where more than one tire is flat spotted.

B. Phase I One Flat Spotted Tire Examinations

Make sure the brake will operate correctly and is in a serviceable condition (AMM 32-41-41).

Examine the wheel for cracks or loose wheel bearings (AMM 32-45-00).

Make sure the brake releases correctly (AMM 32-42-00).
S 212-005
(4)
Make sure the routing of the hydraulic lines and the wiring runs are correct.

(5)
Do the transducer spin test and make sure that the correct brake releases when the transducer motion stops (AMM 32-42-00).
C. Phase II More Than One Flat Spotted Tire Examinations

(3) S 212-009Make sure that the hydraulic return filter is not blocked (Ref 29-15-61).
(4) S 212-010Make sure the routing of the hydraulic lines and the wiring runs are correct.
(5) S 712-011Do the transducer spin test and make sure that the correct brake releases when the transducer motion stops (AMM 32-42-00).
(6) S 712-012Make sure the parking brake valve operates correctly (AMM 32-44-00).
(7) S 212-014Also make sure that the valve is fully open when the parking brake releases (AMM 32-44-00).
(8) S 742-013Do a BITE test for the Antiskid/Autobrake system and also make sure the system has continuity (AMM 32-42-00).
