 (d) (e)  Examine the Ram Air Inlet Deflectors (AMM 21-52-21/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the deflectors, clean the deflectors and movable joints.Examine the Ram Air Inlet Deflector Shaft Assemblies (AMM 21-52-31/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the shaft assemblies, clean the shaft assemblies.
 (f) (g)  Examine the Ram Air Inlet Modulation Panels (AMM 21-52-41/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the modulation panels, clean the panels and movable joints.Examine the Ram Air Inlet Modulation Panel Shaft Assemblies (AMM 21-52-51/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the shaft assemblies, clean the shaft assemblies.
 (h) (i) (j)  Examine the Ram Air Exhaust Modulation Louver Assemblies (AMM 21-52-91/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the louver assemblies, clean the louvers, bearings and movable joints.Examine the Ram Air Actuators (AMM 21-52-11/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the air actuators, clean or replace the actuators.Examine the Ram Air Inlet Control Cables (AMM 21-52-81/501). 1) If you find volcanic ash on the control cables, clean the cable assemblies.
 (k) (l)  Remove and examine the Water Separators (AMM 21-51-41/701). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the water separators, clean the water separator coalescer.Remove and examine the recirculation Air Filters (AMM 21-21-23/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the filters, clean or replace the filters.

Remove and examine the Exhaust Fans (AMM 21-58-12/401) and Check Valves (AMM 21-58-51/401). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the fans or valves, clean or

 replace the fans and valves.

AIRPLANES WITH EFIS; Remove and examine the EFIS Cooling Fans (AMM 21-58-81/401) and EFIS Cooling Check Valves (AMM 21-58-91/201). 1) If you find volcanic ash in the fans or valves, clean or

 replace the fans and check valves.

 replace the heat exchangers.
