We were executing the LDA PRM 28R approach to SFO 2 miles behind a 747 on the
ILS PRM 28L. We broke out above MDA with the runway and preceding aircraft in
sight and received clearance to land. We proceeded along the approach path to the
runway and at 300 FT AGL, we encountered wake turbulence that suddenly and
rapidly rolled the aircraft into 30 degrees left bank. We recovered the aircraft and
executed a go-around. We returned for an uneventful ILS PRM 28L approach and
landing. This event occurred because the spacing between a heavy and large
aircraft executing PRM approaches to SFO may have been too close.
Synopsis
B737 Captain landing Runway 28R reported encountering wake turbulence from
preceding B747 landing Runway 28L at 300 FT AGL. After recovering from a sharp
roll to the left the crew executed a go-around.

Enroute, allowed First Officer to hand fly aircraft, he leveled off at 10,000 FT
(assigned by Air Traffic Control). While accelerating we hit some turbulence (I think
is was wake turbulence) and lost 300 FT of altitude. After repeating altitude call
outs, I took the aircraft and climbed back to altitude. Center repeated 10,000 FT
assignment and I acknowledged altitude.
Synopsis
A BE-90 encountered wake turbulence while the First Officer hand flew the aircraft.
The aircraft lost 300 FT before ATC reminded them and they resumed to the
cleared altitude.
