4.4.4.5 The origin line shall be concluded by an alignment

4.4.5 Test
4.4.5.1 Thc tcxt of mcssagcs shall be dralkd in
accortlance with 4.1.2.
4.4.5.2 When an originator's reference is used. it shall
appear at the beginning of the test, except as provided in
4.4.5.2.1 and 4.4.5.2.2.
4.3.5.2.1 Nllen the ICAO three-letter designators YXY
YYY or ZZZ comprise the second element of the addressee
indicator (see 4.4.3.1.2.1 and 4.4.3.1.2.1) and it, therefore,
becomes necessary to identify in the test (.he specific addrcssec
of the message, such identification group will precede thc
originator'? reference (if used) and become the first item of the
tcxt.
4.4.5.2.2 Whcn thc ICAO three-letter designators YXY
YYY or ZLZ comprise the second elcmcnt of thc originator
indicator (see 4.4.3.2.1 and 4.4.4.2.2') and it lhus beco~nes
necessary to identify in the text the name of the organization
(or military service), or the aircraft, which originated the
message, such identification shall be inserted in the first item
of the text 01 the message.
4.4.5.2.3 When applying the provisions ol' 4.4.5.2.1 and
4.4.5.2.2 to messages where Ihe lCAO three-letter
designalor!~) YXY. YYY or ZZZ is (are) uscd to refer to two
or more different organizations (or military services), the
sequence of rurther identification in thc tcxt shall correspo~~d
to the complete sequence used in the address arid origin of the
message. In such instance. each adclressee identification shall
be followed inlmediately hy an alignment [unction. The name
of the (YXY YYY rrr ZZZ) organization originatin: the
message shall then be preceded \vilh "FROM". "STOP"

4.4.5.3 An alignment fimction I<=] shall he transmitted at

4.3.5.4 When i: is desired to confinn a portion of the text
of a message in telet!lpewritcr operation, such confinnation

4.4.5.5 When it is discovered that an error has bcen made
in the text, the correction shall be separated from the la51 lext

thc abbreviation COR and the correction.
4.4.5.5.1 Stations shall make all indicated correctio~ls on
the pas-copy prior to local delivery.
