The power turbine can overspeed
for up to 15 seconds, the actual time
depending on a graph in the Flight
Manual.
The fuel pump caution light comes
on if one or both fuel boost pumps
fail. If one goes, reduce altitude to
below 6000 feet. You will see the
pressure drop if both fail. If a single
pump fails, your unuseable fuel
becomes 10 US gals, and an unusual
attitude with that little fuel may
cause the pump to be exposed and
start sucking air instead.
Anti-ice should be off for startup
and on for flight in visible moisture
below 4.4 degs C. N1 and TOT will
rise when it is on.
The restriction in forward speed
with doors off is there because the
airflow becomes disturbed around
