The Notes at the end of this edition of the Regulations incorporate the text of transitional, savings
and applications provisions which are part of the amending Regulations as indicated. These
provisions have been included in various amending regulations to ensure that if an amending
regulation relates to an instrument (for example, a licence, direction, rating, delegation) which
was in force before the amendment, the instrument continues to have effect as if made under the
amending regulation.
