(3) S 022-012SOFTWARE INSTALLATION WITH A PDL DISK DRIVE; Do these steps to install the software:
NOTE:____ For more information on how to use the data loader, refer to the supplier's instructions for the data loader.
(a) (b) (c) Set the power switch on the data loader to the on position.Put the correct disk in the disk drive.Follow the prompts on the data loader to complete the installation. 1) If there is more than one disk to install, wait 10 seconds after each disk is completed before you remove and install the subsequent disk.
NOTE:____ CHNG, CHANGE DISK, DISK CHANGE, and INSERT DISK are examples of data loader prompts for subsequent disk.
(d) Remove the disk from the disk drive when the software installation is completed.
NOTE:____ COMP, LOAD COMPLETE, and TRANSF COMPLETE are examples of the data loader prompts for a completed installation.
(4) S 862-094SOFTWARE INSTALLATION WITH A PDL MASS STORAGE DEVICE; Follow the PDL supplier instructions to install the software.
(5) S 862-013Set the system select switch on the data loader control panel to NORM or NORMAL.
(6) S 862-095Set the power switch on the data loader to the off position.

CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE THE DATA LOADER CIRCUIT BREAKER IS OPEN BEFORE
ú YOU CONNECT OR REMOVE THE DATA LOADER CABLE. IF THE
ú CIRCUIT BREAKER IS NOT OPEN, DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN
ú OCCUR.

ú (a) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
ú 1) Circuit Breaker Panel, P11 or P37:
ú a) 11F23, DATA LOADER
ú (b) Remove the interface cable from the DATA TRANSFER UNIT
ú RECEPTACLE.
ú (c) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
ú 1) Circuit Breaker Panel, P11 or P37:
ú a) 11F23, DATA LOADER
