Overweight Landing - Minimum Landing Distance Required
1.
Compare the minimum landing distance required from the table (corrected for wet runway if applicable) to runway available.
2.
Determine go-around capability by checking the approach climb limiting weight in this section. The approach climb limiting weight is the maximum weight at which the aircraft has go-around capability with one engine inoperative in the approach configuration. At gross weights above the charted value minimum go-around capability is not attainable with an engine out.
3.
Determine if the runway available and go-around capability warrant a landing with the actual flight circumstances.
The minimum landing distances in this table are based on the following:
1.
Clean, dry runway
2.
Flaps 40. , slats extended
3.
Over the threshold at 50 FT and at Vref
4.
30 knot headwind at 50 FT height
5.
Maximum braking (Bendix Brakes No. 2608892.1)
6.
Ground Spoilers deployed
7.
Anti-skid operative
8.
No reverse thrust The distances represent actual distances to stop with no margin.
