Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close these circuit breakers on the overhead circuit breaker panel, P11: 1) 11A21, PASSENGER OXYGEN LEFT 2) 11A23, PASSENGER OXYGEN RIGHT 3) Make sure the light in the ON switch comes on.
(f)
Push the SYST PWR switch on the SCU to off and then on. 1) Make sure the SCU comes on.
N. GUN 102-999; VTR Random Access Functional Test

(1) Do these steps to do a test of the random access function:
(a)
Push the EJECT button on the VTR-1.
(b)
Remove the video test tape.
(c)
Put a video cassette tape into the VTR-1 that is random access encoded.
(d)
Touch the MENU button on the SCU.
(e)
Touch ZONE A and ZONE B on the SCU.
(f)
Touch VIDEO 1 on the SCU.
(g)
Press the PREV switch on the SCU.
(h)
Touch VIDEO 1 on the SCU.

(1) Do the steps that follow to do a test of the VTR operation:
(a)
Push the SYST PWR switch on at the SCU.
(b)
Put a tape cassette into VTR-1.
(c)
Touch CONT on the SCU.
(d)
Touch each airplane zone on the SCU display.
(e)
Touch VIDEO 1 on the SCU.
(f)
Push the PREV switch on the SCU.
(g)
Touch VIDEO 1 on the SCU.
(h)
Touch and hold FF (fast forward) on the SCU. 1) Make sure the FF switch-light on VTR-1 comes on.
(i)
Release FF on the SCU.
(j)
Touch and hold REW (rewind) on the SCU. 1) Make sure the REW switch-light on VTR-1 comes on.
(k)
Release REW on the SCU.
(l)
Touch STOP on the SCU. 1) Make sure the STOP switch-light VTR-1 comes on.
