A CH1/CH2 switch which selects whether channel 1 (primary) or channel 2 (secondary) audio is broadcast over the PA system.

An IVS OFF switch turns off any operating VTR after it rewinds and stops.

A VPS/IVS switch to select if system control unit is in Video Entertainment System mode (VES) or Individual Video System mode (IVS).

The ENTER switches (EXEC, PREV, MENU) control the display on the SCU screen. The display(s) corresponding to each switch are as follows: 1) When the MENU switch is pressed the menu display is shown.
This display allows the operator to select which entertainment zone(s) will be powered. This display also allows the operator to select the video source for each zone.
2) When the PREV switch is pressed the preview displays are shown. These two displays allow the operator to remotely control the VTR from the SCU. The second of these displays also allows the operator to preview the video program before broadcasting it to the passengers. If a special, preprogrammed, segmented tape is inserted into the VTR, the preview displays allow the operator to program the system to automatically play back segments of the tape in a specified order.
3) When the EXEC switch is pressed, the execute display is shown. At the same time, the commands programmed on the menu display are executed. The execute display shows the status of each entertainment zone. Zone symbols for zones that are not powered will be blinking.

C. GUN 008-101; Control Distribution Unit (CDU)
(1) The control distribution unit (CDU) is located in the video control center. The CDU controls the distribution of video signals to the video monitors. The CDU also controls the distribution of video audio signals to the passenger address (Ref 23-31-00) and/or passenger entertainment (Ref 23-34-00) systems.
(a) Control switches and indicators on the CDU front panel provide the following functions:
