Read and obey the information that follow before you do the servicing operation.
CAUTION: DO NOT DO THE SERVICING A SECOND TIME UNTIL YOU MANUALLY
_______ SET THE TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE DIALS TO THE NEW VALUES. THIS WILL HELP MAKE SURE THE AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN IS SET AT THE CORRECT CYLINDER PRESSURE.
(3)
If you must do the servicing two times, you must set the filler valve temperature and pressure dials to the new temperature and pressure values.
(4)
Approved Servicing Persons
(a) Permit only approved persons to do the oxygen servicing. An approved person must know: 1) The operation of the airplane oxygen servicing panel, 2) The operation of the oxygen ground servicing equipment, 3) The connection of the ground servicing equipment to the
filler port of the airplane servicing panel, 4) What to do if there is an emergency situation.
(5) Precaution Data
(a) Before you do the servicing of the oxygen system, read the Passenger Oxygen System - Maintenance Practices (AMM 35-21-00/201).

MAINTENANCE MANUAL
(b)
Make sure your hands, clothing, tools, the area, and the equipment are all clean. They must be free of petroleum, oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, and dirt.
(c)
Keep the oxygen away from all things that can start ignition.
(d)
Do not let the oxygen mix with other gases, fumes, or flammable materials.
(e)
Use only aviation-grade breathing oxygen.
NOTE: Welding oxygen and hospital oxygen can be satisfactory
____ to breathe, but it can contain too much water. The water can freeze and stop the flow in the lines, regulators, and valves.
(f)
You must open the valves slowly. If you open the valves quickly, the oxygen can get too hot. If you open the valves slowly, you decrease the risk of a fire.
(g)
Use the pressure reducing valve on the oxygen servicing equipment to control the supply pressure.
B. Equipment
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF A FIRE, MAKE SURE THE OXYGEN
_______
SERVICING EQUIPMENT IS CORRECTLY MAINTAINED AND CLEAN.
REFER TO THE PASSENGER OXYGEN SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
PRACTICES (AMM 35-21-00/201).
(1) Oxygen - Ground Servicing Equipment
NOTE: You must have all these components for a satisfactory system.

(a)
High-pressure oxygen storage cylinders
with shutoff valves to supply the oxygen.
There must be sufficient pressure and
volume to fill the airplane oxygen
cylinder to their capacity.
(b)
Manifold and other high-pressure tubes made
from brass or a corrosion resistant steel.
(c)
Check-valves with a brass body and metal
seats.
(d)
A filter with sintered-bronze filter
element.
