Open the oil filler access door.

Find the oil level shown in the oil quantity sight glass of the oil tank.
(a) If the oil level is at the FULL mark, the oil level is satisfactory.

(b) If the oil level is below the FULL mark, do the procedure: Add Oil to the Engine Oil System (When Oil is in the System).
D. Do a check of the engine oil level (Method 2)

Supply ground electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Examine the oil quantity gage in the flight compartment.
(a)
If the oil level gage shows full, then remove ground electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
If you see the oil level gage below full, do the procedure: Add Oil to the Engine Oil System (When Oil is in the System).
NOTE: Over an extended time, you can see a small change in the
____ oil level from what you saw immediately after you filled the oil tank. This is a result of oil movement throughout the oil system under the effects of gravity and of temperature change.

CAUTION:_______CORRECTLY LATCH THE OIL FILLER ACCESS DOOR. IF YOU DO NOT CORRECTLY LATCH THE OIL FILLER ACCESS DOOR, IT CAN BLOW OFF IN FLIGHT.
(3) Close the oil filler access door.

3. Add Oil to the Engine Oil System (When Oil is in the System)____________________________________________________________
A. General
(1)
ON ENGINES WITH RR SB 79-9427;
Use the gravity fill procedure.
(2)
ON ENGINES WITHOUT RR SB 79-9427; Use one of these procedures to add oil to the oil system.
(a)
Pressure fill, or
(b)
Gravity fill.
(3)
If possible, add the same brand of oil to the engine oil system.
(a) You can add a different brand of oil if it is necessary.
