(6) Close the shutoff valves for all passenger oxygen cylinders with your hand.

WARNING: YOU MUST LET THE PRESSURE IN THE LINE BLEED OUT BEFORE YOU
_______ DISCONNECT THE CYLINDER. THE PRESSURE CAN BE AS MUCH AS 1850 PSI. INJURY CAN OCCUR IF YOU DO NOT LET THE PRESSURE BLEED OUT.

Slowly loosen the fill line connector at the oxygen cylinder neck to bleed the pressure.

Loosen the connector on the other end of the short fill line.

AFTER YOU USE THEM, YOU MUST DISCARD OR CLEAN THE CAPS. REFER TO THE OVERHAUL MANUAL FOR THE PROCEDURES TO CLEAN THE OXYGEN SYSTEM COMPONENTS.
(15) Install caps on the oxygen cylinder port and on all the line openings to keep the system clean.

CAUTION:_______YOU MUST TIGHTEN THE CAP TO THE CORRECT TORQUE. IF YOU DO NOT CORRECTLY TIGHTEN THE CAP, THE CYLINDER PRESSURE CAN DECREASE.
(16) For the cylinders with a metal valve-seat in the shutoff valve, install and tighten the cap to 350-400 pound-inches (39.54-45.19 newton meters) on the inlet/outlet line.
NOTE: The cap is found when you remove a cylinder with the metal
____ valve-seat in the shutoff valve. The cap is held by a chain to the valve.

Read and obey the Maintenance Practices procedures for the passenger oxygen system (AMM 35-11-00/201).

Make sure the airplane is grounded correctly (AMM 20-41-01).

replacement oxygen cylinder had its last hydrostatic test.
NOTE: The last hydrostatic test date will be on a label near the
