Fuels produced to other specifications are acceptable if they have poperties that meet the requirements of the above specifications. This includes the fuels that meet the IATA Guidance Material which defines desirable fuel properties.

 (3)  
Refuel the main tanks with approximately equal quantities of fuel.

 (4)  
If the airplane stays on the ground, you do not have to fill the center tank with fuel when the main tanks are not filled to capacity.

 (5)  
For flight, you do not have to fill the center tank with fuel if you fill the main tanks to capacity.

 (6)  
If the APU is used during fueling operations, the left main tank must contain sufficient fuel to let the APU operate continuously.

 (7)  
You can refuel all the tanks at the same time or in sequence.


 J.  This procedure gives instructions for automatic pressure fueling, manual pressure fueling, and pressure fueling without electrical power.

 NOTE: If you make a decision not to do this recommended procedure,

It is possible that local fire codes and standards make it necessary to use different procedures or more procedures than those defined in the subsequent steps.

_______ DURING REFUELING OPERATIONS. A FIRE OR EXPLOSION CAN OCCUR.
 ú WARNING:_______DO NOT PUT GROUND EQUIPMENT BELOW THE WINGTIPS DURING THE REFUELING OPERATION. THE WEIGHT OF THE FUEL WILL CAUSE THE WINGS TO MOVE DOWN AND THE WINGTIPS MOVE THE MOST. BECAUSE THE FUEL TANKS ARE VENTED THROUGH THE WINGTIPS, A DANGEROUS AND EXPLOSION MIXTURE AROUND THE WINGTIP CAN OCCUR.
 CAUTION: DO NOT USE MORE THAN 55 PSI FUEL PRESSURE AT THE REFUEL NOZZLE.
_______ IF YOU USE MORE THAN 55 PSI FUEL PRESSURE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE REFUELING SYSTEM COMPONENTS
 CAUTION: ATTACH BONDING CABLES ONLY TO SPECIFIED POINTS ON THE AIRPLANE.
_______ INCORRECTLY ATTACHED BONDING CABLES CAN CAUSE SCRATCHES. THESE SCRATCHES CAN CAUSE CORROSION AND CRACKS ON STRESSED PARTS. BONDING CABLES ATTACHED TO COMPOSITE DOORS OR FAIRINGS DO NOT GIVE AN ELECTRICAL BOND.
 (1)  Connect a bonding cable from the fueling source to an approved electrical grounding or bonding connection on the airplane.
 NOTE: If the fueling source has a permanently attached
____ grounding/bonding cable, you can use it in this step.
